Competition racers are now faced with sound restrictions adopted by the AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) at all AMA sanctioned events.

The HMF QRS (Quiet Race System) allows you to pass sound checks at tech inspection at under 101db. (current AMA db restrictions are 104, but will be lowered to 102db) Traditionally, quiet mufflers were power robbers. HMF did extensive track and dyno testing to design the QRS Series that retains 90% of the power expected from an unrestricted exhaust. And with the best muffler packing in the industry, you can spend more time riding and less time repacking.
